This was sent as an update regarding the tidal enrgy project in Ramsey Sound. What do paddlers reckon to it?
"Tidal Energy Limited is pleased to announce that the DeltaStream project has now received the necessary offshore consents from the Welsh Assembly Government (please see WAG press release) and the Department of Energy and Climate Change (please see DECC press release), in order to test the 1.2MW tidal energy demonstration project at Ramsey Sound off the coast of Pembrokeshire. We now hope to progress the project with installation planned in spring 2012.
TEL will be holding the next round of Public Exhibitions at St Davids City Hall on Friday 17th June 2011 from 14:00 - 17:00 and Saturday 18th June 2011 from 10:00 - 14:00, in order to keep you and rest of the community informed of the subsequent steps in the project.
In the meantime if you would like to get in touch with TEL, please reply to this email or contact us via our website www.tidalenergyltd.com. We look forward to meeting you again soon." The TEL team
